About PDFSpot
PDFSpot is a free, browser-based platform for working with PDF and image files. We built it because most online tools require you to upload your sensitive documents to a remote server — and we think that's unnecessary and risky.

Why browser-based tools?
When you compress a PDF on most websites, your file travels to a server in another country, gets processed, and then you download the result. Your document could contain sensitive personal, financial, or legal information. We don't think you should have to trust a third-party server with that.
Modern browsers are powerful enough to handle PDF merging, splitting, compression, and image manipulation entirely without a server. The result is faster processing, no upload time, complete privacy, and zero risk of data leaks.
